John Waite • Johnathon Dressel • Paul Taylor • Shayne Fontaine
Anthony Croizan • Phil Soussan

So one day the phone rings and it's Shayne Fontaine...you remember...from the Johnny Hallyday band...WHO??. Well, you know, we played in that French legend's band for a couple of years together. You probably know him from Springsteen or Lone Justice (someone told me he plays with Marc Cohn as well) So he says: "Er...um ...I'm playing with John Waite and we are going to do some shows...you wanna play bass?" ... 'course I dunno...I just got into being home for a while...but the FINGERS are ITCHIN' and before you know it I'm saying "YES" and we're in rehearsals..."

I've always had a great admiration for John, He is definitely one of my favorite singers, and it turns out that we get along just great. It's a lot of fun playing so many of those hits, and the new songs are terrific - the guy's a real talent. We are doing the "weekend warrior" thing for a while; a few sporadic shows around and until he gets his record company situation resolved, so we jaunt out to Vegas, Detroit, New Jersey etc. etc. and we play the odd shows. We've been doing some with Rick Springfield too! (the guy STILL sells out to screaming 20 year old girls!!)

Although the band varies, the main line up is JOHNATHON DRESSEL on drums, PAUL TAYLOR on keys, SHAYNE on guitars, myself and sometimes ANTHONY CROIZAN also on guitars. I shall post some shots as soon as I get some good ones, but in the meantime...
